Responsible Gambling
Edition: 25 September 2026
Keep gambling within limits
Gambling involves the possibility of losing money. Treat any stake as entertainment spending that you can afford to lose, never as income or a way to solve a financial problem. Decide a budget before starting and keep essential living costs, savings and debt repayments outside that budget. Do not borrow to play or increase stakes to recover a loss.
Set a time limit as well as a money limit. Take breaks away from the screen. Avoid gambling when tired, distressed or affected by alcohol or other substances that impair decisions.
Recognize warning signs
Pause if gambling takes more time or money than planned, becomes difficult to discuss honestly, or interferes with sleep, work and relationships. Repeatedly chasing losses, hiding activity, borrowing money or feeling unable to stop are reasons to seek support. A win does not cancel the significance of those signs.
You do not need to wait for a crisis to ask for help. A trusted person or a specialist support service can help you consider the next step without requiring another bet or deposit.
Limits and account breaks
Check which deposit, loss, wagering and session controls are available inside the operator's current account settings. Apply limits before funding an account and allow time for decisions about increasing them. Read how each limit is measured and when a change becomes effective; different services may implement controls differently.
If you need a break, stop depositing and contact the operator through a verified account support channel. Request the available time-out or account restriction and keep a record of the request. This guide cannot change an external account or impose a limit on your behalf.
Self-exclusion
If you want to stop gambling, ask the operator about its current self-exclusion process and the scope of the restriction. Confirm which accounts, brands and products it covers and how long it lasts. Do not assume that an exclusion at one provider automatically applies to every other provider.
Consider additional practical barriers such as device blocking tools, payment controls where offered and support from someone you trust. Do not attempt to bypass an exclusion by creating another account or using someone else's details.
Independent help in Canada
Support options vary by province and territory. ConnexOntario offers free, confidential information and support connections for people affected by gambling in Ontario, with service available around the clock. Its website can help you find an appropriate service. People elsewhere in Canada should use a recognized support service serving their own location.
The footer also links to Gambling Therapy, GamCare, GambleAware and GAMSTOP. These organizations serve different regions and purposes. A link does not mean that a UK self-exclusion scheme covers this operator or applies to a Canadian account. Check each service's eligibility and scope.
Protecting minors
The minimum gambling age depends on location. This guide is intended only for adults who meet that requirement; its 18+ footer label does not override a higher local minimum. Never let a child use an adult account or payment method.
Keep devices locked, do not share passwords and sign out of external accounts on shared computers. Use appropriate parental controls and avoid leaving gambling content open where children can access it.
References and urgent situations
Read the current policy on the operator’s website before using its services. The edition date on this guide does not certify that an external policy has remained unchanged.
If your safety or someone else's safety is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For ongoing concerns, seek help from a recognized local health or gambling support service.
